Biography: Dr. Jeffrey Joseph, MD, is a member of limited group of board certified ophthalmologists with additional subspecialty training in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Joseph completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at New York University as well as the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, then completed a two-year sub-specialized multidisciplinary fellowship program in oculofacial and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Irvine and The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute. In addition to heading the oculoplastic service at the Skin Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery Center and the Appearance Center of Newport Beach, Dr. Joseph currently maintains an academic appointment at UC Irvine and The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute where he has the privilege of teaching residents and fellows. He also serves as an attending physician at the Long Beach VA Hospital, helping to fulfill the oculoplastic and reconstructive needs of our veterans.
